The slimmed down version of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow are over and Northern Ireland athletes will return home with 16 medals. It's the second biggest haul in history, behind only the 18 won in Birmingham four years ago but this time with fewer sports. But why are the Commonwealth Games so important to athletes from Northern Ireland, especially in the bigger sporting picture?
