The UK gets a new government as its prime minister vows to be a 'circuit-breaker'

Andy Burnham is now the UK's seventh prime minister in ten years. He has promised to present a ten-year programme offering a new political and economic model for the country, away from the neoliberal polices adopted in the 1980s. Challenges include tackling high cost of living, and the rising popularity of the far right. He has also nominated his government.
