Syria's rehabilitation 'suits the West' while Damascus hopes to attract investors

At least 18 people have been wounded after two bombs exploded in the centre of Damascus near the hotel where French President Emmanuel Macron is staying. This comes as Ahmed al-Sharaa is trying to convince the world that Syria is dealing with important security challenges, in a bid to attract foreign investment to rebuild the war-torn country.
