Aristides de Sousa Mendes: the man who braved 'consequences' to save thousands from Nazis

On Sunday 19 July, Portugal marked 141 years since the birth of Aristides de Sousa Mendes, the diplomat who saved over 30,000 from Nazi persecution in WWII. A museum there is dedicated to his life and legacy.
