In a separate development, Lawal has approved the redeployment of 19 permanent secretaries across various ministries, departments and agencies in the state civil service.

According to another statement signed by the Head of Service, the redeployment is intended to broaden the officers’ administrative experience, promote cross-sectoral knowledge and improve efficiency, accountability and service delivery.

The statement also disclosed that the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Culture, Muhammad Salihu Anka, had been redeployed to the General Service.
