Two young children were found dad in their mothers car during 38C weather in southern France. The children, aged two and four, were found unresponsive in their family vehicle early on Monday afternoon, June 22, parked in the garage of their home in Carpentras, Provence. Its unclear how the young children made their way into the car or how long they remained inside. Their mother, 33, was "unaware" the pair were inside until she found them and called for help. Le Parisien reports the mum claimed to have "forgotten her children" while shopping. She has yet to be questioned by police. Police and firefighters were called to the scene around 1.10pm, according to La Provence, but efforts to save the children were unsuccessful. Europe is enduring a record-breaking heatwave, with highs of more than 40C in parts of France. Emergency services and the military have been put on a wildfire alert throughout the country. The post Two children, 2 and 4, found de@d in mum's car in heatwave appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
