The management of Doma United have held a meeting with the leadership of the club's supporters after the club was sanctioned by the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
The meeting was convened to address the circumstances that led to the fine for breaching various NPFL frameworks after the clash against Kun Khalifat FC.
They both agreed on steps to prevent a repeat of the incident.
The Savannah Tigers officials and representatives of the supporters' groups were in attendance to discuss the way forward.
The management reminded the fans' leadership that the club is responsible for the conduct of its supporters under NPFL rules and that breaches carry financial and sporting consequences.
The fans' leadership expressed readiness to learn from the experience and pledged to sensitise members on proper conduct at home matches and to cooperate with stadium security and match officials.
DAILY POST recalls that Doma United were fined N5.25million and ordered to play their next three home matches behind closed doors following the unruly behavior of their fans after the encounter against Kun Khalifat FC.
