Nigerian man addresses those claiming he left his ex-wife after she trained him in school and took him abroad

A Nigerian man, Benneth Joseph Obinna has broken his silence following online speculation about his previous marriage and his recent engagement to another woman.   Obinna and his ex-wife, one Olori Eniobanke, a UK-based nurse tied the knot in 2021.  The former seminarian took to Facebook on Wednesday to officially confirm the end of their marriage.   In a brief video, he stated that he made a firm decision never to publicly disclosed the circumstance that led to to the divorce.   In another post he addressed critics and those making unfounded claims, alleging that he left his ex-wife after she trained him in school, funded his relocation to the UK, paid all his school fees and funded his lifestyle.  He also announced confirmed that he has moved on to a new chapter, officially announcing his engagement to a former girlfriend.  “She trained him in school? She took him abroad? Paid all his school fees? She funded his lifestyle? She gave him oxygen to breathe? Y'all get serious for once,” he wrote. "And yes, I'm engaged to my ex. Anything else?When people divorce, just stay mute cos you know nothing.  "And if you think I'll ever come here to say my ex-partner did this or did that, then you'll have to wait for a life time. There were just too many questions asking about her in my comment sections and in my inbox.  “It's time consuming trying to respond to hundreds of the same question. The video was absolutely necessary. No hard feelings. No bad energy. The separation didn't just happen. Guys, chill.”
