A Nigerian man, Jimoh Noah Onaolapo, has stated that he would rather see a woman remain single than enter a marriage where her dignity, freedom and happiness are constantly under threat.
Onaolapo, who stated this in a Facebook post on Thursday, October 22, criticized the behaviour of most Nigerian men, particularly the religious ones.
According to him, most of them weaponize religion to justify controlling, disrespecting and abusing women.
