Barcelona superstar, Lamine Yamal has chartered a private jet to attend the 2026 Ballon d’Or ceremony in London.

The player will be at the ceremony alongside his family and close friends.

He will not be joining Barcelona’s official delegation for the trip, according to football expert, Victor Navarro as quoted by Barca News.

The 19-year-old winger will be among the principal attractions at Monday's gala, where he will have the opportunity to secure football's most esteemed individual award after finishing second last year.

Navarro reports that Yamal has made these arrangements to enable the individuals who have supported him throughout his career to share the occasion with him.

For this reason, the forward has organised his own travel logistics to ensure family and friends can accompany him to the ceremony.

The Barcelona star has established himself as one of the top football figures in the world with his performances for both club and country positioning him as a contender for the huge individual award.

Monday's event will present another opportunity for the winger to enhance his expanding collection of accomplishments.

Notably, this is not the first instance in which Yamal has made distinctive arrangements surrounding the Ballon d'Or.

Last year in Paris, the Spain international reportedly organised a celebration with friends and family in anticipation of winning the award.
